SCYBA prides itself on being “The Best In Cobb.”  For more than 30 years, SCYBA has been teaching youth in the Cobb County area the game of basketball. During each SCYBA basketball season, your child will experience the most intense, fun and competitive basketball league in not only Cobb County, but the entire metro Atlanta area. SCYBA is guaranteed to bring out the best in your child, regardless of their skill level. We pride ourselves in teaching sportsmanship, basketball fundamentals and a deeper understanding of teamwork and responsibility. SCYBA is a great foundation to prepare your child for school basketball, college and life!
Below are a few of the great things SCYBA has to offer.

OFF SEASON BASKETBALL CLINICS:  SCYBA offers basketball clinics during the summer and sometimes during the season. Our camp has been voted as the best camp in Cobb County and is sure to help improve your child's basketball game.

EVERY CHILD, REGARDLESS OF SKILL LEVEL, WILL PLAY IN EACH GAME:  Unlike some other leagues or schools, every registered child, regardless of skill level will play in every game!

SCYBA NIGHT WITH THE ATLANTA HAWKS: Every season, the SCYBA kids head to State Farm Arena and get to participate in on-court activities with the Atlanta Hawks and other NBA teams. Past games include, Lebron James, with Cleveland and Miami, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh with Miami. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for your child. This event sells out every year.

SCYBA TEAMS COMPETE IN THE ANNUAL COBB COUNTY HOLIDAY BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS: During the holiday tournaments, SCYBA  showcases our talented players against some of the other Cobb County recreation centers.  Our teams finish in the top two every year, making us "The Best In Cobb!"

SCYBA END OF THE YEAR TOURNAMENT:  Each season, every SCYBA regular season team will compete in an in-house, end of the year tournament to crown a champion.
 
THE NUMBERS TELL IT ALL: Thanks to our parents and returning players, our registration numbers increase each year.  We currently have more than 400 players.  During the registration period, please do not wait until the last minute to register and secure your child's spot.

SCYBA TEAMS COMPETE IN THE ANNUAL COBB COUNTY ALL-STAR AND GRPA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENTS: During the Cobb County and Georgia Parks and Recreation (GRPA) tournament, SCYBA will get to showcase our talented players against some of the best talent in the state of Georgia.
