2013-2014 SCYBA Basketball Registration Information
DATES: The fall of 2012 thru the first week of Feb. 2013.
COST: $110 thru March 31st, $125 thru Sept 30th (10 Game guarantee, plus more) for boys 5-14. The normal fee is $110 for 15-18 boys and ALL GIRLS, $135 afterwards for the 5-14 boys. There is a $10 discount for each additional player registered. Note: Players must be registered at the same time.
COST TO ENTER OUR GYM: Unlike other leagues that charge upwards of $7 per game. All SCYBA games are absolutely FREE to enter!!!
GAME LOCATION: Primarily South Cobb Recreation Center. Floyd Middle School will be used as a back-up.
AGES: 5 - 18 boys and 5 - 14 girls.
PRACTICE TIME: ONLY once a week for only (1) hour.
PRACTICE LOCATION: Currently South Cobb Recreation Center.
PLAYING TIME: ALL registered players, regardless of skill level, will play at least (1) uninterrupted quarter. SCYBA, however urges each Coach to play each player a minimum of 2.
UNIFORM: Both boys and girls jersey and shorts will be provided by SCYBA.
GAME DAY: Typically, most games will be played on Saturdays, however due to limited gym availability, there may be a few Sunday games.
SKILLS TEST/DRAFT: A mandatory skills test is required for ALL players, prior to being drafted to a team. This will ensure each team will be made of players with similar skill levels.
